Assembled in our workshop in the heart of the UK’s Motorsport Valley the PDM5-25 is built on our many years experience working and competing in “Grass roots” motorsport.
Measuring 185 x 100 x 60mm and weighing just 550g the PDM5-25 is designed to control a simple vehicle electrical system for competition use. Fit the module close to the engine, and connect your ECU, fuel pump, radiator fan, starter solenoid, and auxiliary components. The control wires are then run to the vehicle dashboard, and toggle switches connected. When the control line is grounded, the relay is triggered and the circuit is live and protected by a circuit breaker.
The PDM5-25 has built in logic. When the starter is operated, power is only switched to the ECU and Fuel pump, meaning those precious amps are all directed to the parts required to start the vehicle!
Auxiliary components are operated only after the engine has started meaning they have a clean start up voltage. Ideal for data loggers, video system, and instruments sensitive to fluctuating power supplies.
Please Note: This product is not suitable for 24 volt starting systems. Please contact us if you intend to run 24 volt starting prior to installing the product.
